EMBRAER DELIVERS FIRST EMBRAER 190 JET TO TACA AIRLINES
TACA will use the aircraft on several routes in the Caribbean and Central America
São José dos Campos, August 29, 2008 – Embraer delivered the first EMBRAER 190, today, to TACA Airlines, from El Salvador. The deal was announced last October, and the aircraft will be used on several routes in the Caribbean and Central America. TACA has a total of 11 firm orders for the EMBRAER 190, with options to purchase another 15.

In order to offer even more convenience to travelers, TACA’s new EMBRAER 190s have a dual-class layout, comfortably seating 96 passengers – eight in executive class and 88 in coach.
